A 15-member foreign tourist group visited the historical attractions of Khaf County.

The Head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Khaf County announced the presence of 15 foreign tourists visiting the historical and tourist attractions of Khaf County.

Mahmoud Baaghideh, Head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department of Khaf County, stated: 15 foreign tourists traveled to Khaf in Khorasan Razavi province to visit the historical and tourist attractions of this region.

These tourists from the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, and Sri Lanka visited some of the most important historical attractions of Khaf, including the “Nashtifan Windmills” and the “Ghiyathiyah Khargerd School.”

Staying in an eco-lodge, enjoying local music performances, being served with herbal teas and local foods, visiting the historical texture, and learning about the anthropological features of Nashtifan were among other programs arranged for this group.

Khaf is one of the counties of Khorasan Razavi province which, with its numerous tourist attractions and 450 identified historical sites, possesses significant potential for attracting tourists and travelers.

Out of the total 450 identified historical sites in Khaf County, 105 are registered in the National Heritage List.
