The obstacles in the relations between Khorasan Razavi and Mary will be resolved through provincial diplomacy

The Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan stated: It is hoped that bilateral relations between the provinces of Khorasan Razavi and Mary in Turkmenistan will further expand through the advancement of provincial diplomacy, and the existing obstacles in this relationship will be removed through consultation and diplomacy.

Ali-Mojtaba Rouzbehani, Iran’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, speaking on the sidelines of the panel discussions at the second Provincial Diplomacy meeting in Mashhad, stated: It is hoped that bilateral relations between the provinces of Khorasan Razavi and Mary in Turkmenistan will further expand through the advancement of provincial diplomacy, and the obstacles in this relationship will be removed through consultation and diplomacy.

Furthermore, fortunately, very good relations also exist specifically between Khorasan Razavi province and Turkmenistan’s Ahal province, and with Turkmenistan in general.

Participating in the second Provincial Diplomacy meeting in Mashhad helps us in identifying the obstacles and problems that must be removed to advance provincial cooperation with Turkmenistan

Based on agreements made with the Turkmen side during the joint commission meetings and according to negotiations between the officials of the two countries, we plan to increase the current capacity for wagon exchange.”
